Course Description
Ever wondered what makes people think, feel and behave the way they do? Interested in learning about psychological disorders
and their treatment?
Our degree will help you understand people and their unusual behaviours, emotions and thoughts. You’ll consider the possible links between psychological disorders and mental, emotional and physical disorders and explore how psychology is applied to the understanding of health, illness and healthcare. Developing your scientific, analytical and research skills, you’ll learn about treatments in areas such as clinical psychology and cognitive neuropsychology. You’ll use our excellent research facilities, including well-equipped specialist laboratories for measuring electrical activity in the brain, eye movement, psychoneuroimmunology, emotions and communication, psychometrics, human behaviour, consumer
reactions and much more
To make sure you’re kept ahead of the latest findings, you’ll be invited to weekly research seminars with talks from leading
academics and researchers
