Course Description

This course is suitable for all those who work supporting the development of children aged 0-5 and wish to develop their professional practice. You will develop your understanding of how best to create and maintain positive conditions that support young children’s learning and development, by critically investigating and evaluating the theories, knowledge, policies and legislation that underpin current good practice. In addition you will develop academic skills that will improve your work performance and your career opportunities. The course runs full time for two years starting in Early September and finishing in mid to late May. Students attend for one full day 9:30am - 4:30pm. The day will be confirmed at interview. Including a relevant subject/science @ C or above (80 UCAS tariff points)

M in T Level Health, Healthcare Science, or Science.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)

You must have a Level 2 Literacy qualification e.g. GCSE English Language Grade C/4, Functional Skills Level 2 or Adult Literacy Level 2
