Industrial engineers optimise complex processes, organisations and systems or even create them to achieve higher efficiency by saving time, money or effort, and to monitor quality and increase productivity.
Industrial Engineering overlaps with operations research, management science and ergonomics. It is a human-oriented discipline accommodating the viewpoints and motives of users at all levels so ideal for those who are both technical and people focused.

Including a relevant subject/science @ C or above (80 UCAS tariff points)
Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)
Applicants with any other qualifications will also be considered on an individual basis, and will be invited for an interview to determine suitability. If English is not the candidate's first language, an IELTS score of at least 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in all skills is also required. Applicants who are able to demonstrate relevant work experience or knowledge will also be considered on an individual basis and will be invited for an interview to determine suitability.
