Course Description

Actively promoted by The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based therapy recommended to treat a range of mental health problems. The techniques can be applied in general medical, nursing and psychological practice.

If you have already completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, this programme will allow you to top-up your existing qualification to a full MSc.

There is strong competition for employment in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and having the higher qualification of MSc will help enhance your career prospects. It could also open up promotional opportunities within the field of psychological therapies.

Buckinghamshire New University, also known as Bucks, was founded in 1893, in the town of High Wycombe, South East England.
