Interested in sport but wish to combine your passion with developing your skills and knowledge of business management? Accredited by Chartered Management Institute (CMI), our BA (Hons) Sport Business Management degree provides the perfect opportunity to explore the worlds of both sport and business. You’ll develop organisational leadership, finance, and strategy knowledge. Plus, an in-depth understanding of key areas of the sports industry such as sport facility operations, events, marketing and the media.

Whether you see your future as a director within a sports company, managing leisure or sports centres, or if you’re considering starting your own business, this is the course for you.

This course has a shared first year across multiple specialisms. After your first year, if you want to study a different specialism you can choose to change between BA (Hons) Sport Business Management and BA (Hons) Sport Business Management and Marketing.

Our Sport Business Management degree will help prepare you for a wide range of sport management roles in private, public or charitable areas of the sport industry including: Sports Events Management, Sports Facility Management, Sports Entrepreneur as well as the Health and Fitness Industry.

You could choose to become self-employed. Or you might also think about a career in community sports trusts and professional sports clubs.

Buckinghamshire New University, also known as Bucks, was founded in 1893, in the town of High Wycombe, South East England.
