Course Description
A number of our degrees are also offered with an additional foundation year (Year 0). Whether you are a school-leaver or someone considering returning to study but don’t have the entry requirements for your chosen subject, a foundation year course may be just what you’re looking for. A foundation year is the first year of a four year programme which: •provides an introduction not only to study at University but also to your chosen subject •offers you a highly supportive environment where you can develop the self-confidence, knowledge, skills and understanding for further study.
A foundation year helps you develop the study skills and self-confidence needed for higher education when you don’t reach the entry requirements for your subject. On this course you’ll have access to:

refurbished £350,000 television studio and gallery film and post production equipment including the Arri Amira and Black Magic Ursa Mini Pro digital film cameras, AVID Media Composer and the Adobe Creative Suite

four dedicated radio studios, a student radio station run by FRTV students in Christ Church and the University of Kent
Visiting industry professionals and former students offer guidance and advice through workshops and dedicated masterclasses.

London costs approx 34% more than average, mainly due to rent being 67% higher than average of other cities. For students staying in student halls, costs of water, gas, electricity, wifi are generally included in the rental. About Canterbury Christ Church University
Founded in 1962, Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) has two campuses for Undergraduates, with one being located in the urban setting of the town of Canterbury, Kent and the other in Medway.
