Course Description

The PGCE Further Education is a professional course that will qualify you to teach in the lifelong learning sector. This sector offers you a breadth of potential employment routes including Further Education colleges, sixth form colleges, adult and community learning, work-based learning and prison education.

We also run a full-time and part-time PGCE programme at Canterbury Christ Church University and a part-time PGCE programme held at The College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London.

About Canterbury Christ Church University

Founded in 1962, Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) has two campuses for Undergraduates, with one being located in the urban setting of the town of Canterbury, Kent and the other in Medway. Students come from afar to take this university’s STEM courses in the subjects of Medicine and Engineering, as well as their more than 200 Undergraduate courses on a wide variety of subjects.
