Course Description

Develop your own business plan for a new venture with support from academic experts and experienced entrepreneurs.

Some may disagree, but we know entrepreneurship can be taught. But it’s not easy. It requires a certain spirit, to be bold and open-minded, curious and creative, imaginative and idealistic. You must rewrite the rules. Take risks. And learn from your mistakes. Do you have what it takes?

The business of changing the world is ours.

Our MSc in Business Strategy and Entrepreneurship is designed for graduates from all disciplinary backgrounds who want to discover new ways of doing things, by launching their own company or joining an existing organisation in a development or growth position.

We promote a culture of enterprise among our students, which was recognised when we received the Small Business Charter award in 2017. We’ll help you realise your business potential, providing opportunities to learn from local businesses and social enterprises.

Our team of academic experts and business partners will prepare you for intrepreneurship and entrepreneurship, helping you explore the economic environment in which organisations operate, acquire financial backing, manage innovations and market products and services.

They’ll use internationally recognised research and real-world examples to encourage you to reflect on perspectives and practices, so you’ve got what it takes to start your own business venture or innovate in an existing organisation.
