Our BDes (Hons), Product Design course covers a very wide range of design activity and innovation from commercial 3D objects to conceptual design interventions in spaces and communication.

Pass Access to HE Diploma in a related subject with 45 credits overall with minimum 39 Credits at Merit & 6 Distinction including preferably one of Art, Product Design, Design, Technology at Level 3.
Award of 27 points overall with 6,5,4 in HL subjects including preferably one of Art, Product Design, Design, Technology.
Minimum grades MMM (Merit, Merit, Merit) in a related subject.
Pre 2017: B1, B3, B3, B3 at HL including preferably one of: Art, Product Design, Design, Technology. 2017 onwards: H2, H3, H3, H3 at HL including preferably one of: Art, Product Design, Design, Technology.
Minimum Year 2 Entry Requirements SQA Advanced Higher - BBC including preferably one of: Art, Product Design, Design, Technology. A-levels - BBB including preferably one of: Art, Product Design, Design, Technology. HNC - Pass in a relevant subject with Grade B in the graded unit. Minimum Year 3 Entry Requirements HND - Pass in a relevant subject with Grades BB at SCQF Level 8 in graded units or for single unit HND pass with B in relevant subject. As part of the selection process suitably qualified applicants will normally be required to submit a portfolio/attend an interview. This applies to all years of entry.
