Course Description

  • PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO YEAR 1 INTAKE FOR THIS PROGRAMME

This programme has been developed with the building services industry to ensure graduates are well equipped to enter the employment market in professional, well paid positions.

It offers you flexibility with a full-time option or a part-time option for engineers who are currently employed and want to improve their knowledge and skills.

The programme focuses on heating and air conditioning system design, building performance simulation and assessment, electrical systems and lighting design.

It is accredited by the Energy Institute and the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) so you can progress towards full Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.

You have the option of completing work placements abroad. Study in the final year of the BEng may be sponsored by industry.

Including a relevant subject/science @ C or above (80 UCAS tariff points)

31-30 overall or 665-655 in 3 HL subjects.

M in T Level Health, Healthcare Science, or Science.

HNC in Care and Administrative Practice or Applied Science with B required in graded unit for entry to Year 1 Sufficient science and discursive subjects and a strong academic profile to be competitive. English and Maths at least at National 5 Grade B.

HND Legal Services: AAA in Graded Units. Other relevant HND qualifications will be considered on an individual basis; please contact us for advice.
