Pathway students enrol on the undergraduate BSc (Hons) Food Science at Glasgow Caledonian University. In the first two years, you will study HND Applied Biological Sciences at Glasgow Kelvin College while preparing for year three and four (for Honours) of the degree at GCU.

Students who successfully pass their HND Applied Biological Sciences programme with Graded Units of AB, can progress to Level 3 of the BSc (Hons) Food Science.

The Food Science degree provides a high quality, innovative, flexible and dynamic education which exposes you to current developments in food sciences in both academic and industrial settings.

Developing, safe, healthy, nutritious, sustainable food has never been more important, and a food science degree opens the door to a diverse industry and a myriad of opportunities.
