Course Description

The International Development BA offers you a distinctive approach to the study of development by concentrating on the middle-income countries responsible for driving changes in the global economy. You will examine how the 'emerging economies' are promoting economic, social and political development as well as growth in new and often innovative ways.

Access to HE Diploma

Including one in a relevant subject/science (80 UCAS tariff points)

31-30 overall or 665-655 in 3 HL subjects.

Including one in a relevant subject/science (90 UCAS tariff points)

If Mathematics is not taken beyond GCSE, a grade 7, (or A) in GCSE Mathematics, or Core Mathematics grade B is essential

Required subjects: None Preferred subjects: At least one social science subject preferred

All International applicants to Undergraduate programmes are required to pay a deposit of £2,000 against their first year’s tuition fee. This deposit is payable when you firmly accept an unconditional offer to study with us, and will be offset against your tuition fees when you join King’s.
