Course Description

Recent speakers include the Palestinian ambassador to the UK and the former Belarusian leader. – You will be taught by highly acclaimed academics and experts in international relations, politics, human rights and international conflict. – Teaching for the course employs innovative and inclusive methods, including games and simulations, case studies, workshops, role playing, and group work.
About this course This course explores the development of international relations and the key ideas that have shaped our understanding of the modern system.
You will examine institutions such as the United Nations and the European Union, and study debates concerning globalisation and underdevelopment.
Through a flexible choice of option modules, you may tailor the course to your interests. Specialisms include international political economy, conflict, security and human rights. In a dissertation, you will study an area of interest in further depth, with one-to-one support and expert supervision.

About Kingston University
Founded in 1899, Kingston University is located in the suburban town of Kingston upon Thames, London. The university’s four campuses can be found in and around the town centre, with a free shuttle bus helping students to get there. This university offers what they call Flexi-stay accommodation, which allows students to book rooms in their residence halls for periods in which they expect to be studying exceptionally hard.
