Course Description
Reasons to choose Kingston – This degree is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators, which includes the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institution of Structural Engineers, Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation and the Institute of Highway Engineers under licence from the Engineering Council and by CIOB. – This MSc meets the requirements for Further Learning for a Chartered Engineer (CEng) if you already have an Accredited CEng (Partial) BEng (Hons) or an Accredited IEng (Full) BEng/BSc (Hons). – Kingston has excellent links with industry. Students have worked with Matra-Marconi Space Ltd, The National Health Service, and British Gas.
About this course This course is ideal if you are a graduate engineer starting your career in the construction industry. Combining structural engineering with advanced construction management, the course addresses the challenges facing the construction industry. You will study subjects that are specific and complementary to civil engineering, developing your problem-solving abilities. A structural design module will broaden and deepen your technical knowledge of specialised civil engineering areas.

About Kingston University
Founded in 1899, Kingston University is located in the suburban town of Kingston upon Thames, London. The university’s four campuses can be found in and around the town centre, with a free shuttle bus helping students to get there. This university offers what they call Flexi-stay accommodation, which allows students to book rooms in their residence halls for periods in which they expect to be studying exceptionally hard.
