Course Description

About this course This course focuses on the challenges and opportunities facing the concrete industry in meeting the demands of sustainability. You will examine concrete technology, sustainable construction, earthquake engineering, steel and concrete building design, fire assessment, geo-environmental engineering and construction management. You will take part in practical work, group work, case studies and presentations. Experts at leading civil engineering and construction companies contribute to the course. For your dissertation, you may choose an industry- relevant project to research.
