Course Description
With a responsibility for protecting public health and upholding the maintenance of healthy environments, environmental health practitioners play an important role in society. On this course, which is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, you will examine complex environmental health problems and learn how to formulate effective solutions. These solutions could involve enforcement, education or the issuing of advice while working in partnership with other agencies. You will be taught by environmental health practitioners experienced in key areas such as food safety and health and safety.
Food Laboratories Our labs will allow you to develop your practical food safety skills
Biomedical Sciences Laboratories Housing modern IT and AV facilities, our new Biomedical Sciences laboratory provides important, contemporary facilities for our students, including a range of biochemical, microbiological, molecular and physiological analysis equipment.
