Course Description
The BSc (Hons) Computer Forensics at Liverpool John Moores University is informed by ongoing research and offers you excellent career prospects. The course is accredited by the British Computer Society (BCS). Students who graduate meet the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered IT Professional in the BCS which raises your professional profile. Computer Forensics is a growing area of Computing. Over the past year the way in which criminals commit crime has changed. According to the Office for National Statistics there has been a decrease in physical crimes while online crime has increased. This increase in online crime requires skilled employees with a knowledge of Computer Forensics.

About the Foundation Year
The Foundation Year is ideal if you have the ability to study for a degree but don’t have the qualifications to enter directly onto the Computer Forensics honours degree programme. Once you pass the Foundation Year you will progress directly onto the first year of the honours degree. If you are a full-time UK student, you will qualify for student financial support for the full duration of your course (subject to eligibility criteria).
