Course Description
As part of the professionally-accredited BSc (Hons) Nursing with Registered Nurse Status (Mental Health) at Liverpool John Moores University, you will complete supervised clinical practice in a variety of settings, both within and outside hospital settings. Plus you will gain further training using our on-campus clinical practice suites. Your key role and challenge as a mental health nurse will be to engage in, develop and disengage from therapeutic relationships with service users and their families through the use of effective communication and interpersonal skills. Your aim will be to promote health and wellbeing for individuals alongside assisting them to achieve their full potential in recovery.
