Course Description

Our BA (Hons) Public Services Management (Top-Up) degree is designed to provide you with the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical ability to accelerate your progress toward the supervisory level. Converting your existing HND or Foundation Degree into a full BA (Hons), this course seeks to enhance your abilities and broaden your understanding of industry processes. Studying various modules, including Strategic Management, Disaster Management, and Public Relations, you will acquire a firm grounding in the concepts of public service management and its position within the modern workplace. This course places considerable emphasis on work-based opportunities and allows you to apply your academic knowledge to practical tasks.

Grading & Study Time

The programme uses a variety of assessment techniques to ensure that you can demonstrate the range of learning outcomes. Subject knowledge and understanding is assessed through examinations, coursework essays, coursework reports, individual or group presentations, written evaluations, debates and posters will be used as other forms of assessment. These also assess a range of transferable skills, including confidence in academic written communication.
