Course Description

This top-up degree course develops your knowledge and understanding of computer games design. It is ideal if you want to top up your existing foundation degree or HND to Level 6 and gain graduate employment in the sector.

The purpose of this course is to help you explore games design and related developments in this growth industry. This programme is completed through facilitated, hands-on sessions alongside lectures and real-world practices using specialised industry-standard software and by completing a games design portfolio and final year project. Specifically, you will study: 3D Sculpting for Games and Printing, Project Management, Final Project (Game Production), Developing Games and Experiences in Virtual Reality, and Portfolio Development. Throughout the programme you will also be encouraged to develop your employability skills.
