The outdoor adventure sector is a diverse industry which attracts many capable people, this programme is intended to launch your career by bringing together theory, practice and experience which is vital to have an effective launch pad for professionals to find successful employment opportunities. This programme will give students a raft of industry required qualifications so that they are ready for employment and can take ownership of your own career pathway.

The professional criteria required for successful completion of Accredited Practitioner with the Institute for Outdoor Learning (APIOL) has been mapped to the entire programme (level 4, 5 and 6); with the intention of allowing students to gather evidence should they wish to apply for APIOL status independently. Direct entrants to this top-up may still be successful depending on their background.
