Course Description

Students will gain an understanding of the importance of tree biomechanics to tree stability and the social, environmental, economic and aesthetic benefits of trees. Issues of environmental sustainability are emphasised throughout the course. This course has been fully accredited by the Institute of Chartered Foresters (ICF) and on completion of the course the student is eligible to apply for Professional Membership of the ICF.
