Course Description

This course offers you the chance to take your professional practice to the next level. You’ll learn new approaches and develop your critical understanding of education, particularly in relation to research, policy and practice.

By offering a choice of pathway options supported by specialist modules, you can align your studies to your professional or personal interests. You can select from the following Master of Education pathways:

Your chosen pathway modules will positively build your skills and knowledge in your particular specialist area. Independent study will also help to tailor your learning experiences to your chosen area of practice.

You will also study the core module ‘Education system in England’, which will allow you to put all your specialist education modules into context. This will be particularly valuable for International students.

You will graduate with the knowledge and confidence to initiate and sustain change, both in your own practice and within your professional context.

Validated by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) at Part 1 level for the purpose of eligibility for membership of the RIBA.

Prescribed by the Architects Registration Board (ARB) at Part 1 level for the purpose of registration in the UK.
