The computer games industry is at the cutting edge of modern technology. Traditional gaming has been transformed by the introduction of new platforms and social spaces, while video games have become increasingly important tools in the areas of education, health and rehabilitation.

Because the opportunities for games technology specialists are so diverse, this degree emphasises the fundamental programming techniques behind modern games technology.
