Course Description

Students on this course develop an understanding of the interactions of drugs with macromolecules and modern molecular techniques, and how they are used in pharmacology and drug discovery / development. The course also explores a number of hot topics in molecular and cellular neuroscience, selected from current scientific literature.

Self-guided formal written assessments, tests, formal examinations, oral and poster presentations, and a research project.

A UK Honours degree (minimum 2.1) or higher qualification in a biological or equivalent subject, plus laboratory experience gained through employment or an undergraduate research project. Appropriate experience or other relevant qualifications will also be considered. Applicants whose first language is not English should have an IELTS score of 6.5.

For students staying in student halls, costs of water, gas, electricity, wifi are generally included in the rental.
