Course Description

A distinguishing feature of this course is its practical and applied motorsport emphasis, which it derives from industries local to the University and the expertise of the staff. Graduates of the course should be able to work effectively in industry as part of design, development or research teams with the skills necessary to turn concepts into drawings and through to the manufacturing and assembly processes. Brooklands College have successfully competed at race circuits up and down the country - bringing home a number of trophies. They are currently competing in the Formula Vee 750 series and BTRDA Rally Cross Production Class. Their links within the motorsport industry include McLaren, West Surrey Racing and Gordon Murray Designs.
