Exploring the theory and reality of children’s early years from many points of view, this innovative course will help you find your niche in this competitive sector and graduate with a clear view of where your career is going. Investigate issues through the lenses of sociology, social psychology, history, and philosophy.
Work directly with young children and their families during the Work Based Learning module in a range of setting of your choice. For example children's charities, Family Centres, Children's ward, Child Development centre, Family worker at the prison, Woman's rehabilitation centres etc. Or choose the Work Based Learning Plus option of gaining professional recognition of your practice in a nursery, primary school or SEND school setting.
