Course Description

BA (Hons) Accounting with Data Science at RGU will enable you to develop the business competencies and digital skills necessary to future-proof your career. An introduction to data science along with core accounting knowledge will ensure that graduates have valuable and relevant skills to meet the changing demands of the accounting profession.

The course incorporates a distinctive blend of business, accounting and data science modules delivered by Aberdeen Business School and the School of Computing. The inclusion of core accounting modules in the field of management and financial accounting may enable a number of exemptions for the entry level exams of professional accounting bodies such as ICAS, CIMA and ACCA.

Students will also have the opportunity to undertake a paid placement opportunity providing valuable real-life experience.
