Course Description
This course will give you the knowledge, practical experience and confidence to pursue a career in the make-up industry as a professional make-up artist for theatre, fashion, video and television. It is aimed at dedicated learners who want to move into the creative industries or further training, and are looking for practical training and a nationally-recognised Level 5 qualification (Title: HND Performing Arts (General)). This full time course is delivered by experienced professionals who are experts in the industry and have extensive industry and teaching profiles.
The course has a strong focus on prosthetics and leads directly to our BA (Hons) Top up qualification validated by UWL.

In Art and Design, Performing Arts, or related subjects.
Applicants must possess a Level 4 HNC Performing Arts in order to be considered for this course. A copy of your HNC module transcripts will be requested, and the original required to be seen at enrolment. If you don't already have a relevant HNC, you'll take the two-year course and start at HNC (Level 4).
