Course Description

This course is for people who are looking to be employed by the Police Services or wish to pursue a career in Criminology. Successful completion of the HND will guarantee access to the final year on the BSC (Hons) Degree in Criminology at Sunderland University. Develop knowledge and understanding of the Police Services with a qualification that includes a bolt on qualification of CKP, the Certificate in Knowledge of Policing. This addition will better your chances for recruitment into the Police Service. Work experience opportunities are available within the Northumbria Police depending upon the successful completion of their vetting process.
