Course Description

The Investment Management course at Swansea University is our flagship programme focusing on finance and investment management and you will gain an advanced understanding of managing assets and risk in complex organisations.

This advanced programme is for students who have already studied accounting and/ or finance, at undergraduate level.

Your degree is accredited by the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute (CFA) with University Affiliated Programme status. You will also have the opportunity to pursue a further professional CFA qualification alongside your master’s degree.

Get advice on which foundation courses are best for you to still study Investment Management, MSc, if you do not meet the minimum requirements in terms of UCAS score, A levels, or English language requirements.

Students must attain a 2:2 (or overseas equivalent) in an undergraduate degree that has included a range of modules in accounting/finance or quantitative/statistical methods. This need not necessarily be a degree with accounting or finance in the title. English language requirement IELTS 6.0 (minimum of 5.5 in each component) or Swansea University recognised equivalent.

About Swansea University

Swansea University was established in 1920 and is located in the large city of Swansea, in Wales. There are two campuses, the flagship campus is located between Singleton Park, with its green parkland and botanical gardens, and Swansea Bay beach. The more recent Bay Campus on the other hand is located on an extensive beachfront property on the eastern side of town, past the marina.
