Course Description

The LLM in Legal Practice and Advanced Drafting combines our Legal Practice Course (LPC) with an independent learning module, to enhance your essential legal skills and give you a valuable master’s level qualification.

The LPC is essential if you want to qualify as a solicitor in England and Wales. Adding this extra module, to upgrade the qualification to an LLM, makes you even more valuable to a potential or existing employer.

We welcome applications from students holding the following qualifications: 2:2 degree or above in law. Degrees must be a qualifying law degree as specified by the SRA. Students with a lower degree may still be considered subject to satisfactory interview; Students holding a Graduate Diploma in Law. English IELTS 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component or Swansea University recognised equivalent.

About Swansea University

Swansea University was established in 1920 and is located in the large city of Swansea, in Wales. There are two campuses, the flagship campus is located between Singleton Park, with its green parkland and botanical gardens, and Swansea Bay beach. The more recent Bay Campus on the other hand is located on an extensive beachfront property on the eastern side of town, past the marina.
