Course Description

The MSc Management (Entrepreneurship) at Swansea University will give you a theoretical understanding of the nature of entrepreneurism, the role of entrepreneurs in the economy and the operating models of entrepreneurial businesses.

This programme will equip you with the skills to found, operate and grow your own business. This programme will also be relevant if you want to work in a large organisation and you’re interested in entrepreneurial change.

You will also learn about management in an interconnected global community as well as core management concepts such as managing financial resources, operations management, human resource management and marketing management to give you a solid grounding in a range of dynamic business principles.

Accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) the only chartered professional body in the UK dedicated to promoting the highest standards in management and leadership excellence, the course is open to students from any discipline who would like to work in business or management. Once you have graduated you will receive a CMI level 7 certificate.

A 2:2 (or overseas equivalent) in an undergraduate degree. Any degree subject will be considered. English language requirement IELTS 6.0 (minimum of 5.5 in each component) or Swansea University recognised equivalent.

For students staying in student halls, costs of water, gas, electricity, wifi are generally included in the rental. About Swansea University

Swansea University was established in 1920 and is located in the large city of Swansea, in Wales. There are two campuses, the flagship campus is located between Singleton Park, with its green parkland and botanical gardens, and Swansea Bay beach. The more recent Bay Campus on the other hand is located on an extensive beachfront property on the eastern side of town, past the marina. Apart from a vibrant academic life, students can attend the numerous yearly festivals that take place in Swansea, guaranteeing plenty of opportunities for getting out and about in your free time.
