Course Description

Course overview: This one year full-time top-up course provides you with the unique opportunity to engage with and learn about the wider concepts and developments within the health and social care sector, particularly in light of recent legislative and social policy developments.
The course is aimed at improving the existing provision, along with the outcomes for service users and ultimately development of the health and social care workforce to the highest possible standards – maximising personalisation, person-centred care and key quality care concepts. Candidates are expected to be working with clients or have experience of working within a professional framework to apply their learning on this course. After the course: Completion of this course will provide you with career opportunities in management roles in social care, non-clinical lead roles in healthcare and service manager roles.
