Course Description

Combine the study of business with Spanish to prepare for the social, political, environmental and cultural challenges facing contemporary businesses, governments and not-for-profit organisations.

Spanish

Spanish is the official language in 20 countries and widely spoken in four more territories, including the United States.

Studying Spanish at the University of Edinburgh, you will be immersed in an extraordinary range of global literature, film, poetry and theatre, explored in historical context.

Intensive language training gives you the opportunity to develop advanced spoken and written skills in Spanish, including how to discern different varieties and registers of the language.

International business

You will specialise in international business in Year 2 and you will have a compulsory study year abroad in Year 3 at one of our international partner institutions in a Spanish-speaking country.

Scottish students must apply to the Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS) for payment of their tuition fees.

EU On 9th July 2020 the decision was made by the Scottish Government to end free university tuition for European Union (EU) students starting in 2021-22. Funding policy for EU nationals and associated groups starting a course of study in academic year 2022-23 or later will be in line with international fees.
