Our six-year Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) degree equips you with the knowledge, understanding and skills you need to become a Foundation Year 1 doctor.

Scotland
In 2022-23 the fee level set by the Scottish Government was £1,820 but is yet to be confirmed for 2023-24. The 2023-24 fee rate is expected to be confirmed by the Scottish Government in early 2023. Students must apply to the Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS) for payment of their tuition fees.
England/Wales/N Ireland
The Rest of UK (RUK) rate is yet to be confirmed for 2023 but was £9,250 for 2022 entry. For 2023 entry this may increase in line with inflation and will be subject to government limits.
EU
On 9th July 2020 the decision was made by the Scottish Government to end free university tuition for European Union (EU) students starting in 2021-22.
Funding policy for EU nationals and associated groups starting a course of study in academic year 2021-22 or later will be in line with international fees
International
Tuition fees for international students starting a course of study in academic year 2023-24 or later have not yet been confirmed. Decisions are expected before the start of academic year 2023-24. All overseas students who accept an offer of a place will have to pay a fee deposit, which is a third of the year's fees
International - Full time international student’s tuition fees for entry in the 2023-24 session are under review and will be confirmed in July 2022. All students will pay this fixed annual fee rate for Years 1, 2 and 3. For Years 4, 5 and 6 the fixed annual fee was £49,900 in session 2022-23 (for academic year 2023- 2024 entry fees will be confirmed in the summer of 2022). All overseas students who accept an offer of a place will have to pay a fee deposit, which is a third of the year's fees.
