Course Description

This programme offers you the opportunity to study one or more Scandinavian languages while exploring the development of languages, generally, and Scandinavian literature and culture.

You will spend Year 3 studying, teaching or working in a Scandinavian country.

Linguistics

In the field of Linguistics, you will learn:

  • how language is acquired, produced and understood

  • how it functions in interaction between individuals and in society
