Course Description

This four-year degree is based on the standard BSc Mathematics (G100). It provides the opportunity of studying abroad in your third year. An international year has many employability benefits that will help you in your career.

You will develop key skills such as:

All of these are extremely sought after by employers. You'll have the opportunity to study maths abroad , choosing from countries including Australia, Canada, France, Germany and the USA.

Throughout the degree you'll learn the many different areas of mathematics. The course covers pure and applied maths, mathematical physics, probability and statistics. Our lecturers are experts in advanced mathematical techniques and theories. You will also develop wider skills in analytical thinking and problem-solving. In preparation for your time abroad, language modules can be studied alongside maths during your second year.
