Course Description
Our Statistics MSc provides a broad and deep understanding of statistics. The 12 month full-time programme provides advanced knowledge and training to become a professional statistician or researcher.
You will study the fundamentals of statistics. You will explore the principles and techniques required for modern-day statistical modelling and data analysis. The course combines core and optional modules to enable you to tailor the masters to your interests.
Apply the theory and techniques you have learnt by working on a substantial self-directed dissertation. You'll benefit from supervision from experts within the School of Mathematical Sciences.
On graduation, you will be equipped with valuable statistical skills to enable you to:
