Course Description

Combine your own research with insight from our advanced taught modules. This course is ideal if you are passionate about a research topic in theology but:

  • you want to develop your research skills or academic ability before committing to a PhD

  • you cannot commit to three years or more of research

  • your topic does not need three years of research

This degree is a companion to our Religious Studies MRes. The difference is in your agreed area of research and the title of your award. The teaching and supervision arrangements are the same.

London costs approx 34% more than average, mainly due to rent being 67% higher than average of other cities. For students staying in student halls, costs of water, gas, electricity, wifi are generally included in the rental. Students in smaller cities where accommodation is in walking/biking distance transport costs tend to be significantly smaller.
