Course Description

All our courses demonstrate the role that chemistry plays in our lives, but this is a course about the chemistry of life. This course gives you the opportunity to learn about the chemistry of biological systems, the molecular basis of disease and how to design pharmaceutical products to combat illness.

Accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry for partially meeting the academic criteria for Chartered Chemist (CChem).
