Course Description
This programme combines a rigorous foundation in economic concepts and tools, including quantitative methods, with an opportunity to apply for a year on placement, developing and applying those tools in a real-world context and gaining important professional experience in an economics-related role. Our highly regarded department offers a stimulating learning environment in central London and will support you in your search for a suitable placement. A placement cannot be guaranteed. In the event that you cannot secure a placement, you will be able to request to switch to the 3-year BSc Economics programme (subject to meeting any requirements).

31-30 overall or 665-655 in 3 HL subjects.
The Welsh Baccalaureate Skills Challenge Certificate will be accepted in lieu of one A Level at the A Level grades specified, excluding any subject specific requirements.
If Mathematics is not taken beyond GCSE, a grade 7, (or A) in GCSE Mathematics, or Core Mathematics grade B is essential
GCSE English Language and Mathematics required at grade C or 5.

For students staying in student halls, costs of water, gas, electricity, wifi are generally included in the rental.
