Course Description

Turn your love of music into a career as you become a skilled, collaborative, and thoughtful composer on our BMus (Hons) Composition for Screen degree course, at UCA Farnham.

This degree is focused on musical composition for moving image so you will encounter plenty of opportunities to work with students across film, animation, and games as you learn your own composing style.

You’ll gain technical expertise and understanding, and knowledge of the theories, contexts and philosophies in music, so that you can become an expert in creating and notating your compositions.

You’ll learn with global audiences and cultures in mind and consider equality and diversity within the industry, and you’ll develop adaptable and entrepreneurial skills too, so you can apply your knowledge and expertise in a variety of career paths.
