Course Description

Want to create a beauty masterpiece, or venture into experimental make-up or hair for editorial, campaign and catwalk shows? Our BA (Hons) Make-up & Hair Design degree course at UCA Epsom will give you the freedom and skills to achieve your ambitions.

Throughout your studies, you’ll explore a range of technical approaches, product features and published outputs. You’ll be able to create, refine and present your work in style with our extensive facilities – and you’ll develop your in-depth industry knowledge, practical skills, and individual signature style so that, by the time you graduate, you’ll have a rich portfolio of work to set you up in your career.

Along the way, you’ll benefit from a wealth of industry expertise, work with fashion stylists and fashion photographers, use our extensive fashion facilities, and develop in-depth skills in make-up.

In addition to core units, you’ll have the chance to collaborate with students across our fashion and textiles courses, work with industry partners, and undertake a work placement.
