Course Description
Whether it's creating games and interactive experiences, scripting game mechanics or programming tools, this degree will arm you with the skills for an exciting career in a multi-billion pound, high-growth industry.
Develop skills in games programming, artificial intelligence for games, network programming and interface design to ensure confidence in the use of industry standard games engines and technologies. You will have the opportunity to be part of a multi-disciplinary team working with game artists and designers on project briefs set by media and computer games companies.
Having launched the world's first computer games degree in 1997, Abertay has been instrumental in building the city of Dundee as a global hub for computing and gaming.

HNC in Care and Administrative Practice or Applied Science with B required in graded unit for entry to Year 1 Sufficient science and discursive subjects and a strong academic profile to be competitive. English and Maths at least at National 5 Grade B.

31-30 overall or 665-655 in 3 HL subjects.
Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)
