Course Description

This course takes an integrated approach to health science so you develop an understanding of global environmental change and its impacts on human health. You will explore current emerging challenges, technologies practices and strategies for the sustainable management of food production waste, built and open environments to benefit people’s health.

When you gradate there are many areas of work you can enter into including government agencies.

Our courses build on the established research expertise of staff in areas across biomedicine, biochemistry, immunology, microbiology, genomics and bioinformatics. At Bedfordshire we continue to develop academic collaborations with our Schools and Research Institutes within the university and beyond.

including 1 A-level or equivalent from a science subject (Biology, Human Biology, Chemistry, Physics or PE)

Qualification requirements

112-120 UCAS tariff points in a Science-based Access Diploma

from a science subject (Biology, Human Biology, Chemistry, Physics or PE)

London costs approx 34% more than average, mainly due to rent being 67% higher than average of other cities. For students staying in student halls, costs of water, gas, electricity, wifi are generally included in the rental. Students in smaller cities where accommodation is in walking/biking distance transport costs tend to be significantly smaller.
