Course Description
Models of work are constantly evolving, but one thing does not change – people still need to be recruited, trained, motivated and rewarded to meet the requirements of organisations. If your interests lie in the direction of effective people management, begin with a thorough grounding in business, before exploring the many aspects of HRM: professional practice, leadership and motivation, pay and reward, business systems, selection and recruitment, employee relations and employment law. Learn from expert tutors as you carry out practical projects that emulate working as a professional manager. Bring your learning to life and gain practical experience of the challenges and excitement of human resource management through a 12-week placement in or around Milton Keynes.
