Course Description
On this course you will develop the legal expertise and intellectual understanding to establish yourself in an international practice, academic institution or in a range of other high level roles.
Your main focus will be on understanding the complex relationships between business environments and the legal regulatory frameworks in which they operate.
Intermediate qualifications available:
Postgraduate certificate – 60 credits at Masters level
Postgraduate diploma – 120 credits at Masters level

The course is placed in the context of advanced intellectual engagement with issues in law and legal theory and supports the critical application of legal theory to the international, business setting.
Taking into consideration the interrelationship between law and business, you will have the opportunity to consider and resolve legal and regulatory problems through collaborative activities.
This course emphasises the applied practical approach of business law and as such looks to the resolution of problems through an examination of differing legal and business perspectives.
The overall educational aim of this course is to enable you to gain an appreciable understanding of the interaction between the business environment and the legal and regulatory frameworks in which business operate.

LLB or Joint Law degree with a minimum classification of a 2.1, or in the case of degree holders in disciplines other than law with sufficient and adequate legal content on the basis of merit, or applicants with foreign qualifications on the basis of individual merit.
Applicants with English as their second language must show proof of competency in speaking and writing English to IELTS 6.5 band or above or its equivalent.
For all other elements, the requisite level of competency for which again proof must be shown is: IELTS 6.0 band or above or its equivalent.

London costs approx 34% more than average, mainly due to rent being 67% higher than average of other cities. For students staying in student halls, costs of water, gas, electricity, wifi are generally included in the rental.
