Course Description
Increasingly, events are used as a tool in promoting a destination and to draw new tourists. This course will provide you with a disciplined approach to analysing events industry in tourism sector. It will also provide you with an awareness of the different approaches to managing the events industry.
As tourism continues its international growth patterns, employment opportunities within the event industry will be greatly impacted.
This course can result in the opportunity to follow vast number of careers in the tourism and events industry to suit your particular interest, for example, tourism officer, events manager, business and conference organisers, customer service manager, venue coordinator, tourist information centre manager, travel agency manager, etc.
