Course Description

The use of audio media is of growing importance across the globe. Beyond its origins in broadcast radio, creative and curated audio in various forms, from entertainment programming to drama and the spoken word documentary, is increasingly used on a variety of additional platforms such as podcasting and web streaming. This course can be differentiated from others by its inclusion of journalistic elements and the access that students have to professional broadcast media facilities including the university's community radio station, RadioLaB.
